Puppy Homes!

My puppies have both gone to their homes now. They're doing well and the families are loving them. We miss them very much here, especially since we know Kijah won't be having any more puppies. But we're so grateful for the people who love them and the knowledge that we're welcome to visit them any time!

Emma (red girl) found a home during week nine, but we got to keep her for an extra week. She loved to race around our family room and sleep under my desk while I did school. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of her and her family, but I'll include a few from when she was still here.

Willow and family!

Week Eight

Puppies are now fully weaned and have been dewormed three times. They are just waiting for their first shots (on Friday) and then they can go home. I'm still searching for a good home for the red puppy, so we'll see how that plays out in the near future. They love jumping around and carting shoes all about the place (though they aren't allowed to chew on them ;). They're always so excited to meet people and their tags wag furiously. They like to spy on one another and have stare-downs, and then race about the backyard as fast as they can. We have an old hollow log that's also part of their play area and they race back and forth through it or stop to play in the middle. So much fun. Will miss them when they're gone!
